The 4th of May sees the return of old favourites Backwater (with a new 5 piece line-up) Backwater play the kind of traditional Bluegrass made famous by Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Jimmy Martin and the Stanley brothers with a smattering of Carter Family material. June 1st. 2025 – Leanne Bugat

Leanne was born in Melbourne into a musical family with her father being known as Australia’s answer to Roy Orbison! Leanne reads her audiences well and enjoys delivering a professional and fun ambiance… Alan Laz caught up with Leanne at Fiddler’s Convention and she was keen to share her music on the Peninsula.
July 6th. 2025 – The PFC AGM with The Peninsula Voices Choir as the guest act

We are so blessed to have this wonderful group of people from the Club and from without who meet fortnightly to practice and just enjoy music under the leadership of Eric Van Cuylenberg. They are able to put together a range of styles and genres for us to enjoy. Each time they perform, someone unexpected steps forward to lead a song ..who will it be this time.. Can’t wait!

AGM information: Our July 6th Club Night will commence with a short Annual General Meeting when we will receive reports and elect or re-elect our Office Bearers and General Committee. We are always casting around for new people to join the Committee for they bring fresh insights and thoughts. Our practice is to have a working “hands on” Committee, with all Committee members having a role to play. If you think you have something to contribute, feel free to talk to Alan, Neroli, Peter or any other Committee member to see what’s involved. Our Constitution requires that nominations MUST be received ONE
month prior (at the June Club Meeting) Nomination forms will be available at the desk at our May and June Club nights. The AGM is kept a short as possible so that our blackboard concert and guest act can be heard. Our record for the shortest meeting is 10 minutes.

To book a spot on the blackboard concert contact Tony Coffey on 0483 017 572.

*** Members $8 and Non-members $12 ***
